Cougars Gone Wired Win Robotics Award

We're big science geeks around here. So we were happy to sponsor a team of high school competitors from Coronado High School for the Colorado First Robotics competition Mary 21-24 in Denver. Cougars Gone Wired made it all the way to the quarterfinals and won the Team Spirit Award.

The competition was part of a six-week program for students to build a 120-pound robot that can operate a specific task that changes every year. The competitors use a standard set of parts as well as custom tweaks to go from concept to finished product.
